So I decided to send an email about my order saying it hasn’t shipped when it was estimated to arrive today. Suddenly the tracking information updates and it went a day in the wrong direction and now it will arrive on Friday. If a package is traveling ground there is rarely a reason to go a state in the wrong direction.

Revisited an artist's gallery, of which I enjoy their work, and now I'm all huffy.

I’ve been checking in on my tracking number since yesterday and is giving me anxiety how it’s been a whole 24 hours and it’s still hasn’t moved.

I think it’s finally time for some food.

This system is a mix of critters who want to get up and those who want to stay in bed.

I had @foxxy pull my test repo and seeing it pop up on his computer I got so giddy. He looked over and my overjoyed face scared him. xD

Squeak! We made a local git repo and a remote one on our server and pushed stuff to it for the first time. 🎉

This actually makes me need to think about other things like which one can handle stuff like LDAP and other things I like to use. researches

I'm thinking of either trying something built on Flask or Oak. On one paw I'm more versed in Python so Flask might be easier for me. On the other paw Dino is pretty powerful and @foxxy seems to like it so Oak would be good too but would require more help from the fox. 🤔

Time to read on the activitypub spec and figure out how to make a basic working example.

Me: I'm going to learn about how to impliment a squid caching server

Me: just ogles over hardware to build a caching server out of instead

Hmm, 12G SAS HBA or 10G NIC for a caching server...

2.5G networking doesn't quite sound fast enough but there isn't a 10g onboard nic as an option and I only get 1 pcie slot.

Could get a 10G nic and use the onboard sata for the spinning rust 🤔

Advert: "Find ice cold datacenters near you. Call now"

Great, now I'm looking up collocation costs in my area. >.>

I misread some hardware recommendations as "32GB of ram per 1GB of cache" and was freaking out. Like suddenly I need to buy soooo much ram.

Then I reread it and noticed it was 32MB of ram and not GB. xD

I will learn the way of the squid. 🦑

Rad. I just found out I can use RSS or Fediverse feeds for Funkwhale for podcasts and stuff. So now I have my favorite werewolf podcast available on my Funkwhale for listening to!

I really do enjoy Kanboard. It's configuration is very simple and straight forward and it supports nice things like LDAP and jpegPhoto.
