@IceWolf: Thankies. One day I hope to not need the automatic mode for exposure and stuff and to better understand how to process the raw images. x3

@doxxy Oh, we can help with the exposure stuff at least and maybe both! :3

@IceWolf: Ooo, that's super cool. Lost touch the the photography fuzzy I was going to train with when we moved.

@IceWolf: Dat would be neat. I'm sure I just need to practice more.

@doxxy Honestly, try fiddling with the manual settings sometime!

The big takeaway is that aperture, shutter speed, and ISO all interact. Shutter speed is, well, shutter speed, ISO is digital sensitivity (cranking it up too high gives you noise), and aperture you can use to get the right exposure if you don't want to tweak shutter speed or ISO. Aperture has some other effects, too – a lower number means more background/foreground blur, I think is the main thing.

@IceWolf: Yeah, I was playing around with manual settings before and got some of it but then I didn't photograph for a while and well forgot stuff. xD
